Walnut Carved Lamp

This little walnut lamp looks so simple and elegant. It is actually made up of five pieces, all turned on a lathe, then entirely hand-carved with gouges and chisels: no machine carving. One interesting feature is the wax saucer carved with a leaf motif on the bottom (not really necessary with an electric light bulb!)
